Applications for the inaugural AI Awards are now open for you to take part in a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills and expertise to the Irish AI community.
AI Ireland is a non-profit community devoted to promoting Artificial Intelligence in Ireland and through the AI Awards, it is our mission to increase public awareness of AI. We aim to do just this by bringing academia and industry professionals together for an amazing opportunity to highlight the excellent work done in the field of AI, Machine Learning and Data Science on the island of Ireland.
It is a very exciting time to be living in Ireland as we are one of the nation’s at the forefront of pioneering innovation in the field of AI. Our focus is to support the AI community by recognising the hard work and dedication of those working in the field and to help promote and market Ireland globally as a first-choice home for AI investment, job creation and research & product development.
There are six categories which you can apply for:
- Best use of AI in Sector
- Best application of AI in a Student Project
- Award for Best Contribution to AI – Academic Research Body
- Best application of AI in a Consumer of Customer Service application
- Best application of AI in a startup
- Best application of AI in a large enterprise
You can nominate yourself, colleagues or someone else you know that you feel deserves to win an AI Award. Applications for the AI Awards will close in five weeks time on Monday 20 August.
Nominations which make it through to the next round will then have the chance to present to our judging panel of experts in September. The lucky winners will be announced during the awards ceremony this November, for which we hope to announce a date and venue very soon.
